It features a textured seat surface and maesures 19" tall by 12" width. The depth of the top is 12" and bottom is 17". The top corners can be loosened to adjust the "slap" feature of the instrument.The Cajon has become extremely popular and for good reason. The square-ish box offers delightful tones, sometimes muted and sometimes open, which simulate everything from bongos to tumbas to snare drums, when played with hand slaps, deep palm "dooms" and sizzling finger staccato patterns.
