Jane has a unique hollow body warmth and resonance. A piezo pickup in the bridge enables the player to blend in acoustic sound, or use the stereo output to keep electric and acoustic sounds separate. The Relish-designed, custom wound Bucker XV pickups provide an excellent base, but the guitar's design enable other pickups to be swapped in almost instantly, even in the midst of a performance. A unique touch-sensitive slider strip allows 17 available pickup switching options for incredible tonal flexibility. The fingerboard is made by environmentally sustainable dark strand woven bamboo which is even harder than ebony and extremely resilient to changes in humidity. Includes hardshell case.
The piano-style construction with two magnetic high pressure veneers on either side of her aluminum core creates a brilliant crystal clear sound that vibrates freely from the bolted on bent neck to the piezo loaded saddles in the bridge. The ghost piezo by Graph Tech, built into the saddles adds warmth and enhances the guitar’s natural acoustic sound, widening the already extensive pickup functionalities provided by the sleek touch pad: two-finger coil-splitting and 17 pickup positions allow for in-depth tone precision. The magnetic back lid gives access to Mary’s tidy interior and makes way for lightspeed pickup swapping.
