Used Yamaha L Series "Loud" Snare 7x14 Temple Silver

Wonderful shape.  Everything functioning 100% as it should.

Yamaha's 14" x 7" Loud Series Oak Snare Drum is an 8-ply drum made for those who really need to be heard. This baby cuts through any ensemble sound, but still gives an earthy, warm wooden tone!

Oak gives warmth, but none of the brittle sound or loss of high-end frequencies.

The bearing edge cut is 45 degrees to provide intense attack and articulation. It also has 2.7mm deep snare beds and drilled air vents. It's fitted with 10-lug 2.3mm steel Dynahoops and 20 offset legs, and has a dark-chrome hardware finish to boot.

This one is stamped "MSD1470" on the badge, but it is clearly an L Series snare and not an Elvin Jones signature. This appears to be from an early/first run as the drum is dated December 2007 and this series was introduced at the beginning of 2008. 

There are currently SoundPure snares on the drum, the original snares are included, but one snare wire is bent.
